Tonight we wrap our arms around strangers and they wrap us back in turn.
We turn off the lights and bow our heads and close our eyes.
We sing in the words of our ancient language bound together by a mutual lack of understanding.
We end our embrace too soon and begin to wrap ourselves all over again.
Do not forgot that we are still strangers.
If we opened up our flesh you still could not see our souls.
But sometimes souls find themselves wrapped in each other’s arms.
And in this embrace, the spirit lives.
